We have all heard this one too. She went from being diagnosed with Type II diabetes and having to take oral medications to having to take insulin injections because she didn’t follow the Doctor’s orders. If you have Type I diabetes you MUST take insulin in order to survive, it is the only treatment available. People who have Type II diabetes and decide to go on insulin injections is because they feel that they can control their blood sugar level much easier. But it does not mean that you have a bad job on treating your condition, actually it means that you are well aware of how important it is to take care of your blood sugar levels.
